How do you shake it properly to get it to work?

A:

Since V1.1 the shake feature has changed to now respond to a system shake event. This works in the same way as the system 'Undo' shake feature works. Give the iPhone a sharp bump and it will activate the shake feature. You will know this has worked when you see the ball display an answer message... lets hope it is the answer you were looking for!

What should I ask for?

A:

You should only ask yes or no based questions. Mystical Ball is programmed with over 100 responses that are designed to respond to these generic questions. But if you are feeling generous you could spend 59p/ $0.99 on an in-app purchase that will allow you to create your own responses
